Employees must be in 26 weeks continuous employment in order to qualify for the right to make a statutory request to undertake study or training
Set out the length of time which an employee must have been em¬ployed for in order to qualify for the new employment right to make a statutory request to spend time undertaking study or training. An
employee must have been continuously employed for 26 weeks before they are able to make a request which their employer will be obliged to consider.
