Len on Steve
He does like tea which is not too high on my list. His is also mad on football (I prefer the real game - rugby) and for some reason he supports Sunderland so he has to have a visa to cross the Tyne. As a football referee he now looks after the junior leagues so he does not have to do a fitness test - which is just as well!
He is really good at employee relations and as one of ACAS's senior conciliators he has seen and helped solve quite a few management/union punch-up in his time. Steve is also acknowledged as being one of the regions greatest authorities on diversity, and now he is getting a few grey hairs I have noted that he knows all about age legislation.
Like me he is a "people problem solver" and managers and employees say that he is great to work with across the range of people issues that we come across.
